The original cover had greatly deteriorated, however the imprinted portion of the original front cover could be reused. This is a nice option because we are limited by the type we have in-house. By combining a cover material (imitation leather) that very closely resembled the original cover, the transition between new and original was smoother. |

Book owner desired to reuse the original boards, but the spine was not salvageable. New spine construction, while noticeable, complements the look of the original boards. |
